About the Artist
Kate Hebblethwaite studied at Winchester school of Art. She later went onto to work at Conde Nast Publications working for Vogue Magazine as Promotions Editor.
It was at Lavender Hill Studios in London where she fell in love with the 'Chiaroscuro' method, under the direction of Nick Bashall. Here she was taught the classical techniques of drawing and painting from life using oil and charcoal.
She has had several exhibitions at The Southwark Playhouse and lives in South West London.
